I'M MY FATHER'S ONLY!


He said to him, "Stay away from my girl",
I knew,
He would stand by me, against the hurl!
Around me his safety border he drew!
His love for me was more than true.. 

In pique, resentment, irked I was,
For he was the my heartbreak's cause!
In my vex, I forgot who I was for him,
"I hate you" I told him, With an expression grim!

Later at night, I heard a sob,
In the darkness I couldn't see any blob!
Within I was scared to see him this way,
I asked with guilty but he refused to say!

Going back to my room I realised what I had done,
My words had hit him harder than the gun!
I traveled back to live the epoch,
All the memories were now unlocked!

Lifting me in his arms to see me smile,
For making things easier for me he would go an extra mile!
Sacrificing his sleep he guarded mine,
Always made sure I'm doing fine!

Never did he fail to fulfil my wishes,
He showered his love by hugs and kisses!
Always making sure I'm safe Everytime,
He says "you are only mine!" 

Toys, ice creams, chocolates, I got many,
With him around I needed no nanny! 
From changing my diapers to handling my psming swings, 
He is my angel, my dad who needs no wings!

I realised,
He is afraid to lose me to that one,
Who wouldn't treat me well and just have fun,
Protective he is  even when I'm 18 now,
Cause for him I'm still the little girl who doesn't know the world is how!

I can't undo what is done,
But from now His every problem I will shun!
In his life I am the sunshine,
For me he the canopy in the vine!

So with love from a daughter I promise today,
To never hurt my angel in anyway! 
I shall be responsible for his happiness solely, 
'CAUSE I'M MY FATHER'S ONLY!!

RESPOND THOUGHTFULLY!

Is there something that is eating you up from within? Is there anything that is causing you pain or keeping you from your happiness? There is always something or the other that constantly keeps vexing each one of us. And these flusters hurt the soul and summon misery. It is like a vicious cycle of life. Negativity begets Negativity! But it's in our hand how we respond to this! If we react in a trice, we will definitely fall in the trap of this vicious cycle! There is prodigious difference between a reaction and a response. When you act without thinking rationally, it's reaction. Response is when you calmly analyse and then act in a sensible manner.
